about

The rain was falling, and I wanted to sleep. But I heard voices.
This story was overheard on a ferry late at night, sailing the Ionian Sea.
The unfamiliar woman was returning from a scientific conference in Athens dedicated to cloning.
Later, the woman showed this photo. The professor was her ancient ancestor.
The woman was very peculiar, and for a moment, it seemed like her eyes were not human. And from under her long skirt, a tail would sometimes emerge...

"Year 1868.
In the dimly lit laboratory of Professor Arvidsson, the air was thick with the acrid scent of chemicals. The professor, a man of both brilliance and obscurity, was consumed by a singular obsession: the creation of a being that would embody his essence, with all its intricacies and, regrettably, its darker facets.

His journey began with a series of meticulously planned organic chemistry experiments, each one pushing the boundaries of scientific understanding. In a curious blend of ambition and hubris, he sought to sculpt life from the raw materials of the universe. One experiment stood out among the rest—a concoction of rare compounds, the secret recipe whispered only to the walls of his laboratory. The culmination of this endeavor was the birth of a monstrous entity, a grotesque reflection of the professor's innermost self.

This creature, a living manifestation of the professor's hidden flaws and unpleasant moments, bore an uncanny resemblance to its creator. The more Professor Arvidsson sculpted, the more he realized that what he had brought into existence was, in fact, a mirror image of his soul. The creature, an embodiment of the negativity he harbored within for a lifetime, now walked the earth as a grotesque testament to his failings.

Yet, as the transformation neared completion, something went awry. The delicate balance of the experiment shifted, and an unforeseen twist manifested. The professor, in a cruel twist of fate, began to undergo the same metamorphosis as his creation. His once-human form contorted and twisted, mirroring the deformities of the creature he had spawned. The last glimpse of the professor revealed "legs morphing up to the knees", a poignant moment of despair and realization.

In his anguish, the professor uttered words that would resonate through the annals of science and philosophy: "It has turned him into me."

The laboratory, once a haven for groundbreaking experiments, now stood as a mausoleum of shattered ambitions. The grotesque pair, professor and creation, wandered the world as a cautionary tale of unchecked scientific ambition. The echoes of their existence posed profound questions about the nature of creation, morality, and the consequences of attempting to play god.

In the end, Professor Arvidsson's legacy was not one of scientific triumph but a cautionary tale etched into the fabric of the universe—a tale of a man who sought to create life and, in doing so, found himself irreversibly entwined with the very essence of his humanity."
